VINOCE is a small family owned winery, owned by Brian and Lori Nuss. Over the last 28 years they have developed an intimate knowledge of growing Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot on the rugged, hillside slopes of Mount Veeder. Brian and Lori are dedicated to creating wines that reflect the true expressions of the Mount Veeder Appellation.
THE MEANING OF VINOCE, pronounced (vin-o-chay):
It is a play on the Nuss Family name and Brian’s German-Italian heritage. Nuss means "nut" in German. Noce is "nut" in Italian. Intermingled with "vin" for wine, Vinoce means "wine nut."
60% Cabernet Franc, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot
Seamless integration of flavors from start to finish backed by supple tannins. Fleshy and complex; full bodied, luscious in texture and long with aromas and flavors of toast, caramel, plum, oak and tobacco. The wine is characterized by rich fruit flavors, a fine silky texture and ripe approachable tannins structured for aging.
