PEJU Province Winery – Rutherford, California

back

Peju Province Winery was founded in 1982 Tony & Herta Peju in the heart of the Rutherford region of the world-famous Napa Valley. Situated between Highway 29 and the west bank of the Napa River, the Rutherford appellation is a six square mile area famous even by Napa standards.

Peju operates 2 main estates: Rutherford, which is certified organic,  and Persephone, which is sustainably farmed, although Peju intends to seek organic certification for this estate once it has been sustainably farmed for a sufficent time.

As is well known, Napa is perfect terroir for wine grapes. Winemakers Tony Peju and Sara Fowler are masters at their craft, as proven by the many awards and accolades the winery has achieved.

The Peju’s love of viticulture and passion for wine are evident in every bottle they produce.
